NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Monrovia, Indiana will
receive sealed bids for:
2026 Monrovia Mowing /Landscaping
Scope of work: Mowing, trimming, and weed control in following areas
around all buildings, fences, trees, shrubs, curbs, etc…..
- The Government Center lot and the lot across Marley Way. Treat all gravel
parking areas for weeds. Treat all mulched area and clean as needed. - The area between the post office parking lot, west to the drainage ditch and south
to the rear of the post office. - The Town Park area (approximately four (4) acres) and the entrance at 270
Pray Street. - Inside and outside the fenced area at the Wastewater Treatment Plant.
Trimming in drainage ditch outside of Wastewater Treatment Plant. - Mow both sides of West Union Road from State Road 42 until you get to the curve
past the storage unit. - The area around four (4) wastewater lift stations: E. Main Street on State Road 42,
Baltimore Road, Terrace Drive in the Latta addition, and Homestead. - The area along N. Chestnut Street (S.R.39) across
from Dairyland. The ditch area along Walnut
Street, S. of West Main Street. - The ditch area along Baltimore on
both sides of Glacier. Weed Control
in gravel areas. Clean out all
weeds and trash twice per season. - Weed control (Sidewalks)
The above services are to be performed on an as needed basis. There will be no subcontract
unless approved by Town Council. Before work is performed the contractor
must have on file with the Town proof of insurance with a minimum coverage.

The bid shall include the furnishings of all material, equipment, and labor.
